ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

My journey with Sculpture began in high school with artist teacher Sandro
Coccia who made me love metalworking, then at the Academy of Fine Arts in

My journey with sculpture starts at the beginning of high school where the schoolteacher/
artist Sandro Coccia made me fell in love with art metalworking, then, at the Academy of
Fine Arts in Rome, the sculptor Gaetaniello made me passionate about wax and plaster
casts, while Mongelli and Zinza gave rigor and structure to my plastic studying. My direct
processing with clay began some years ago by the strong need to create directly without
intermediate steps.
This process soon turned into an imperative need: exploring the inner processing of my
creative intuition. From small sketches to large-scale projects all my art is a contact with
earth/Matter, a direct line to reality.
My experiences, my travels to India and China added to my artwork process a preference
about the movement and surface sensuality. Sculpture as a bridge to the substance of
feeling.
I was lucky enough to meet and cooperate with several great artists, in addition to my own
individual exhibitions, therefore my art reputation has consolidated. To find out more
